As we are on the eve of our 2014 Vacation Bible School I am excited to see what God is going to do! Yes, VBS is a time of games, snacks and excitement! But it is also a time when some children will hear the gospel message clearly presented for the first time. Some will be making eternity changing decisions!
Oh how we need to reach this generation for Christ!!My burden this VBS is to not only reach the young people but reach behind them to mom and dad! I am looking for God to put some families back together! I am looking for God to rescue some drug addict dads and wayward moms for Jesus Christ.
It all starts with our workers on their knees asking God for His power and presence in every service! My dear friend Caleb Garraway will not be at VBS but God the Holy Spirit will be! May He work on hearts and lives and may VBS 2014 be an event that many will look back on saying…that is where my walk with God began!
